Reserves 2009-10
Perhaps the worst kept secret of the summer but Mark Holmes has rejoined Sheffield United Community LFC !
One of the clubs founding fathers , Holmes returns after 7 seasons away.
Having recently parted company with another club he helped set up last year ,Sheffield United Junor Blades , Holmes has accepted the offer to be the new United Community 2nd team boss.
Holmes formed Community with fellow `United in the Community` Coach Andy Keenan and admin man Ian Masling in 1998 , running junior teams until leaving to work on his Junior Boys teams in 2002. Holmes subsiquently got back into womens football at Sheffield Wednesday LFC.
Enthusiastic ahead of the new season Holmes commented "I had 4 good years at this club before and are looking forward to the new challange of working with players old an new. My job is to help take this club to a level what will test us all from week to week.
Which i know the players are up to the challange on taking us from strentgh to strentgh".
